No fixture against a rival keeps this side up at night. Across 82 qualifying matches for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship since the campaign began, Andorra have won four, drawn nine and lost the rest, shipping 290 goals against 29 scored. A scoreline like the 0–10 suffered against the Czech Republic on March 3, 1998, the team's first official match, was one of many.

Against that backdrop, the two wins that stand out are the ones nobody expected: 3–0 over San Marino in 2007, and the same scoreline against Armenia in 2018. This autumn's qualification campaign has produced something rarer still. A 3–0 win over Spain U17 on October 8, 2025, followed wins against Cyprus U17 and Moldova U17 earlier in the year.

Filipe Busto now manages a group led on the pitch by captain Juanfran Haddad. The Tricolors, as they are known after the three colours of the Andorran flag, still wear the red and blue of the senior side.
