Atalanta II

The federation's approval, granted on 4 August 2023, put a second Atalanta team into Serie C.

The side is not a separate club. It carries the same badge as the senior team — the profile of Atalanta — and the same black and blue, and it answers to the same society in Bergamo.

Home is Caravaggio, out in the province, where the municipal ground holds 2,180. A handful of matches have been moved to the New Balance Arena.

Twice the playoffs have ended in the first round — Catania in the opening season, Casertana in 2025–26. The exception came in 2024–25, when the team reached the second round before Audace Cerignola put them out. No reserve side in Italy had gone that far in Serie C.

The one date the supporters mark is the meeting with AlbinoLeffe, the other club of the province.

Marco Palestra left for Chelsea; Moustapha Cissé and Giovanni Bonfanti passed the same way.

There is still no trophy of any kind, and no promotion. A second team cannot go up to Serie B, so the only measure available is how far into the playoffs it goes — and the second round remains the ceiling.
