Brumov

Brumov's highest point came in 1998/99, when the club won Division D and moved up into the Moravian-Silesian Football League, the Czech third tier. It arrived after climbing the regional pyramid from district football in the 1950s through to a title in the Střední moravský župní přebor in 1995/96, the promotion that first lifted the club into the fourth tier.

Staying at that level proved harder than reaching it. Brumov finished 13th in its first third-tier season, was relegated after 16th place in 2000/01, returned for one more campaign in 2006/07, and went down again after finishing 15th. It took until 2024/25, and the Zlínský kraj přebor title, for the club to climb back into the fourth tier by the same route it had used before.

Founded on 29 September 1941, the club plays in red and black at Fotbalový stadion Brumov. One name linked to it is Tomáš Řepka, who went on to win 46 caps for the Czech national team and four Czech league titles; Tomáš Polák, also connected to the club, made 337 appearances in the Czech first division. Games against neighbours such as FC Slavičín are known locally simply as a souboj sousedů — a battle of the neighbours — with no fixed name ever settling on the fixture.

A national cup has never come Brumov's way.
