Polanka nad Odrou

The climb had come in stages. A runner-up finish in the regional championship in 2018/19, on 71 points from 22 wins, five draws and three defeats, had already lifted the club into Division F; before that, in 2011/12, the side had gone up after winning the I. A třída in 2010/11 and spent several settled years in the regional first division. An earlier attempt at that level, in 1991/92, had ended in relegation after a single season.

The club traces back to 1932, when it was founded as FK SK Polanka nad Odrou. Play stopped in 1938 under occupation and resumed in 1945. In 1983 the football section broke away from the Sokol sports society to run its own affairs, a split that set the shape of the club still competing today. It sits thirteenth in the MSFL table in the 2025/26 season.

Black and white remain the club's colours: a black shirt, black shorts and white socks at home, green shirt, black shorts and green socks away. Polanka has never reached a national cup final and has no history at the top of the Czech pyramid.
