Caiquetio

Paradera fields two clubs within shouting distance of one another, and Caiquetio shares its home patch with SV Bubali, a proximity that has never quite hardened into a named derby but that locals treat as the natural measure of the season regardless. SV Jong Aruba, based in the same district, supplies the other half of a rivalry drawn more by geography than by history.

The club took shape in December 2000, a late entry into an island league where most rivals had decades on it already, and it has spent the years since climbing towards the top flight without ever quite settling there. Two Division Uno titles, in 2004–05 and 2011–12, marked the promotions; relegation followed both times, most recently at the end of the 2024–25 season.

The cups have been kinder. Caiquetio won the Copa Betico Croes in 2022–23, and two years later took the Copa Roy Croes final 2-1 against Atlantico Deportivo. Neither trophy carries the weight of a league title, but together they gave the club a run of silverware it had not managed in the top division.

Matches are played across town at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium in Oranjestad, a ground built to hold 5,500 and shared out among several island sides rather than kept for one. Green shirts with white sleeves and yellow shorts have stayed the club's colours since the beginning.

No single player has attached his name to Caiquetio the way a long-serving captain might elsewhere.
