College Corinthians

Corinthians Park sits off Scairt Hill in Castletreasure, a Douglas ground with no fixed capacity on record — estimates run to around 1,000 on a full day. College Corinthians only moved there in 1990; before that, home was The Farm, the University College Cork ground, an arrangement that traces back to how the club began. Five UCC graduates, no longer eligible to turn out for the university side, formed their own team in 1971 rather than stop playing. The tie to UCC never really loosened: the club's schoolboy section still feeds players into the university side, some of whom return to Corinthians for senior football. St. Mary's, a regular opponent in the Munster Senior League Premier Division, is the other fixture that matters.

The league championship arrived five times through the 1990s and early 2000s — 1994–95, 1996–97, 1997–98, 2000–01, 2002–03. What sits above it came in May 2025: the FAI Intermediate Cup, the club's first, after two lost finals at that stage in 1994–95 and 1997–98. Munster Senior Cup finalists in 2000–01, beaten by Cork City.
