Djeffa

The club has never won the top-flight Championnat National or the Coupe du Bénin, and the cup has not been played since the 2018-2019 season.

Djeffa began as Zazira FC de Parakou, who were already in Ligue 3 by 2009/10 and spent 2018/19 and 2019/20 in Ligue 2. In late 2019 the entrepreneur Hadi Sidi Mouhamadou took the club over and renamed it Djeffa FC, with yellow and blue as the colours. The club then played at third-tier level again, and that is where it finished second in 2025.

The best-known player to come through is the striker Ramzi Adam, who played for Zazira and then Djeffa before winning caps for Benin. He scored at the CHAN 2024 tournament. Adam Mouzil, a former captain, played for the Benin under-20 side.

Parakou is a city of several clubs, and the meetings between them are known as the "Derby de Parakou". Dynamo FC de Parakou and Les Buffles du Borgou are the main opponents. Madjid Zoumarou, a defender, moved from Djeffa to Dynamo before he died in 2021. Promotion puts Djeffa back in the same division as the city's other sides, at the Stade Municipal de Parakou, which holds up to 8,000.
