Eutingen Women

The women's section of SV Eutingen plays under colours it did not choose for itself. Red and green came down from 1. FC Eutingen, the men's club that preceded the present multi-sport association, and they have stayed on the shirts through every reorganisation since.

That association, SV Eutingen 1947 e.V., was set up in 1947 to run sport of several kinds in a village on the Gäu plateau in Baden-Württemberg. Football is one department among them, and the women's team is a department within a department — the arrangement common to German village clubs, where the football side answers to a committee that also books gymnastics halls.

Home matches are played at Sportplatz Göttelfingen/Gäu, on Zollernstraße. The listed capacity is 2,000, which is more than the ground is usually asked to hold and roughly a quarter of the population of Eutingen im Gäu itself. There is no stand worth describing; the figure counts standing room along the touchlines.

The team's one appearance on a national fixture list came in the DFB-Pokal der Frauen in the 2026/27 season, against VfR Wormatia 08 Worms. Eutingen won 10:0. A straight knockout gives a regional side one afternoon a year against opposition it would otherwise never meet, and most of those afternoons end the other way round; this one did not.

Beyond that result, the record is thin. No trophies are documented in the open sources, and the club has not held a place in the upper divisions of the German women's pyramid. Its football is played at regional level, where the calendar is set by the Württemberg association and promotion is decided over a season rather than a cup tie.

The immediate task is the league campaign in front of them, and the ground on Zollernstraße will decide most of it.
