«Ossenaren»
It started on 9 April 1928, when Toon Steijnhauser and the brothers Piet and Cor van Scheijndel formed a side they called TOP — short for Tot Ons Plezier, "to our pleasure."
The amateur and professional sides split for good in 2009, the pro club taking the name FC Oss before reverting to the old TOP Oss in 2018.
Silverware has mostly come in the lower divisions — a Derde Klasse title in 1939, a Tweede Klasse title in 1949 — but the one that still gets talked about is the 2010/11 Topklasse championship, sealed with a 2-0 win over Achilles'29. Home games are played at the Frans Heesen Stadion, which holds 4,561, red and white the colours, Ossenaren the nickname the town gave its own.
