Häcken Women

The Nordic Wellness Arena holds 6,316, small enough that the crowd noise carries all the way to the far touchline, and it is where Häcken have played their home matches under a name that changed twice before the ground did. Landvetters IF started here in 1970, became Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in 2004, and only in 2021 turned into the women's section of BK Häcken, keeping its own legal standing rather than folding entirely into the men's club.

The trophies split neatly across those identities. The league title came in 2020 as Kopparbergs/Göteborg, then again in 2025, this time under the Häcken name — a gap of five years and a different shirt crest either side of it. The Svenska Cupen has come around more often, won in 2011, 2012, 2019 and 2021.

Fixtures against FC Rosengård carry more weight than any other on the calendar, a rivalry that has shaped much of Swedish women's football over the past two decades, while the meetings with IFK Göteborg stay closer to home, a city derby rather than a title fight.

Yellow and black, the same as the men's side, earned the club its nickname — Getingarna, the Wasps, in Swedish. Among those who have worn the shirt, Stina Blackstenius stands out: a forward who came through the club before her name became familiar well beyond Gothenburg, and one still associated with the Wasps more than any trophy on the list.
