The furthest FC Jesteburg-Bendestorf has taken a cup run so far ended in Hanover, in the 2025/26 final of the Niedersachsenpokal, where Hannover 96 beat them. It was the second time the women's side had reached that final in four years — in 2021/22 they went one step further and won it outright, a result that sent them into the first round of the DFB-Pokal the following season. In between came a smaller prize with a big scoreline: the 2023 women's Futsal-Cup, settled 7-6.

The club itself is younger than any of that history suggests. FC Jesteburg-Bendestorf was formed on 30 April 2023, when the football departments of VfL Jesteburg, dating back to 1912, and SV Bendestorf, founded in 1946, merged into one. Green, white, blue and red were adopted as the new colours, drawn from both predecessor clubs so that neither disappeared into the other. The women's team, playing in the Oberliga Niedersachsen-West, carries forward a run of form that stretches back well before the merger — the old Jesteburg/Bendestorf side won the western group of the Oberliga Niedersachsen in 2007/08 and only missed out on promotion to the Regionalliga Nord after losing the deciding final to TSV Havelse.

Home matches are played at the Sport- und Kulturzentrum Altes Moor, which holds 2,000. Derby weekends against Eintracht Elbmarsch draw the sharpest edge locally, while games with TV Meckelfeld are known simply as the Kreis-Derby.

Among those who have worn the gloves for the club, Laura Jungblut is the name attached to the run of success between 2019 and 2023, the years spanning both the Niedersachsenpokal win and the Futsal-Cup title.
