Three thousand seats is what Khan Tengri stadium holds. Almaty has been its home from the start, and the team has not needed anything grander to make its way up from the bottom tier.

The club was only founded in 2022, and it wasted no time settling in: a first-place finish in the Second League that same year sent Khan Tengri straight up to the First League. The Cup campaign that year ended early, in the first preliminary round, a reminder of how far the squad still had to go.

In the First League, results have moved in both directions since. Seventh place in 2023 gave way to fifth in 2024, built on 17 wins from 28 matches. 2025 brought a sharper drop, to 12th, with 18 defeats outweighing five wins across 26 games.
