In July 2026, Kaspiy Aktau 2 put six goals past Aktobe-M without reply. It came in the middle of a First League season the team has spent hovering around mid-table, sitting ninth after 19 rounds — seven wins, four draws, eight defeats, 27 goals scored against 31 conceded.

The team plays as Kaspiy-M, the reserve arm of Kaspiy Aktau, and its results only make sense next to the parent club's. Twice the reserves have won the Second League's South-West conference outright, in 2021 and again in 2024, each title carrying the right to move up a tier. Between those two seasons the form dipped — eleventh in the conference in 2022, ninth in 2023 — before the side pulled itself back to the top in 2024 and settled into First League football on a more regular footing.
