Kristiine JK

Two hundred people is as many as Wismari staadion can hold, and that number, confirmed by both the club's own site and Transfermarkt, tells most of what there is to say about the ground. No covered stand, no away end to speak of — a pitch built for a team that plays in front of the street it represents rather than a crowd bussed in for the day. When the calendar turns to five-a-side and hall rounds, Kristiine JK leaves Wismari behind for the gym at Merivälja Kooli, then returns once the outdoor season picks back up.

The name comes from the district, not the other way round. Kristiine is one of eight that divide Tallinn, and the club took its name and its ground from it when it was founded in 1999.

Nothing in the club's history reaches beyond Estonia's lower tiers, which makes 2023 the season worth naming. Kristiine JK finished top of the north/east zone in the IV liiga, the country's fifth tier, and met the west-zone winners, Tabasalu Ulasabat C.F., in the deciding match. They won it 3-0, enough to be named champions of the division outright rather than just their half of it.

Colours are harder to pin down than results. No federation record states them outright, but a kit catalogue lists an Adidas set from 2010 in yellow and black, and nothing since contradicts it.

What the club has not gathered, in nearly three decades in Kristiine, is a name that outgrew the district — no graduate, no manager remembered beyond these results. What it has is Wismari staadion, two hundred seats, and a neighbourhood that still turns up to fill them.
