«Los Nucieros»
The final that mattered most came in May 2022, in a play-off for a place in Segunda Federación. La Nucía beat Arenas Club de Getxo to win it.
That climb had been quick and orderly. Segunda Regional Valenta in 2004, Primera Regional Valenta in 2006, and the Regional Preferente title in 2007, which opened the door to the play-off for Tercera División.
The home ground, the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano, holds 5,000 and is newer than most of the honours won in it — it opened only in 2019, in a town of the Marina Baixa better known to European clubs as a place to hold pre-season camps than as a place to play a league fixture.
The green and white gave the side its plainest nickname among supporters, verdiblancos.
In 2024 came the Valencian regional stage of the Copa RFEF, settled 1-0 against CD Soneja. The following season the club went further in the national rounds of the same competition than it had before, reaching the quarter-finals and going out to UD Poblense by a single goal.
