Novin Ahvaz

Foolad Khuzestan built its reserve side to feed the first team from within. That side, formed in Ahvaz in 2008, kept the name Novin Ahvaz in common use even after 2015, when it was formally renamed Foolad Khuzestan B — fans and reporters still call it Foolad Novin or Foolad B.

Within a year of forming, it won the Iran League 2 and moved up to the Azadegan League. The promotion spot went instead to Esteghlal Ahvaz, sold rather than used. Ali Asghar Ashouri scored the penalty that sealed that campaign, and Hassan Beyt Saeed , part of the same squad, went on to play for Esteghlal Khuzestan and Esteghlal Tehran. The club returned to the Iran League 2 podium in 2024–25, winning it again and earning another route back up to the Azadegan League.

Its matches are played in Ahvaz, mostly at the Ghadir Stadium.
