Örebro Söder Women

The women who pulled on the black and white in January 2011 did their best work indoors. In the futsal final that month, ÖSK Söder beat IK Sturehov 5-1, then carried the win into the SM final stage, drawn alongside Torslanda IK and Forshaga IF. It remains the clearest line in the team's record: nothing comparable has been won in the eleven-a-side game, where the club's seasons ran through Elitettan and Division 1 without a trophy.

The side plays under the umbrella of Örebro SK, and that shapes almost everything about it. There is no separate website — news reaches supporters through the club's main pages and through a laget.se team page that has served as the practical noticeboard. The kit follows the parent club too: white shirts, black shorts, the colours of Svartvitt .

Home is Behrn Arena, the ground the men use, known for most of its life as Eyravallen and holding 12,645.

In October 2020 the team's own channel described that season as its last as a standalone Elitettan side, with the players to be folded into the wider Örebro SK structure. What followed is harder to pin down: registers elsewhere kept listing matches under the Söder name through the seasons that came after.

Örebro SK itself was founded on 28 October 1908, and the women's section grew inside it rather than beside it — sharing the ground, the colours and the name, without a founding date of its own that anyone has written down.
