Ospitaletto

In 2000 the club went bankrupt and was wound up. It started again that same year under a new name, Football Club Ospitaletto 2000, and it started in Terza Categoria — the bottom of Italian football, several floors below the Serie C1 side it had been a few seasons earlier. The climb back out took a quarter of a century.

The staging posts of that climb read like a ladder taken one rung at a time: Seconda Categoria in 2018–19, Promozione in 2021–22, Eccellenza Lombardy in 2023–24, and then the Serie D title in 2024–25 that put the club back among the professionals after 26 years away. Andrea Quaresmini took the side through the last of those promotions and extended his contract in 2026.

Behind the refoundation stood Giuseppe Taini, a former mayor of Ospitaletto, who has served as president; the Musso family came in during 2023, as the promotions began arriving in consecutive seasons.

The ground carries the name of Gino Corioni, who was president both here and at Brescia. It had to be rebuilt to Serie C standards before the club could use it at that level, and the seated capacity now stands at roughly 3,000 — a figure that matters in a town whose fixtures against Lumezzane and Union Brescia are known locally as the Derby dell'Orgoglio Bresciano.

Amato Ciciretti signed in 2024, when the club was still a division below professional football. Younger names have arrived on loan from Fiorentina and Atalanta, which is what happens once a club is worth lending players to again.

The orange and blue were first worn in 1923, when Giovanni Cavallini founded the club. The single Serie C2 title, won in 1986–87, remains the high point of the first life; the second life has produced five championships in seven seasons.
