The ground has always been a municipal project, a piece of civic infrastructure as much as a football arena, and its identity shifted with the times. It was renamed in 2019 after Gino Corioni, a former club president, a change that followed decades of being known simply as the Stadio Comunale.

It sits in Ospitaletto, a town in the Province of Brescia, and serves a community that has seen its team move through the tiers of Italian football. Work completed in 2025 replaced the old standing terraces with seats, a move driven by safety regulations rather than comfort. The initial homologation placed the capacity at 1,600, with plans to extend it further as the project winds down.

This is the place where the club has played its home games for nearly a century, though the modern era began in earnest in the 1980s. It was here that the team secured sixteen consecutive seasons in professional football, a run that ended in 1998. The stadium witnessed the local rivalry known as the Derby della Franciacorta, a fixture that had been absent for forty years. The history of the ground is tied to these long stretches of time, when the town looked to its team for pride. The entrance gate, visible in the shadows, leads into a space that feels more functional than grand, a working room for a small-town club.
