The 2020 K4 League title came in the division's first season. In November 2025 it became Paju Frontier FC, a professional side in K League 2.
It started on 16 February 2012 as a city team, and it lost finals before it won anything: third place in the Challengers League in its first year, then the Challengers League final in 2013, then the K3 League Basic final in 2018.
The colours are Frontier Blue and Cosmos Pink, an unusual pairing for Korean football and one the club kept when it turned professional — the blue now carried in the name itself.
Home is Paju Stadium, listed at 23 000 seats. That is a large ground for a club that spent its first seasons in the fourth tier and below, and the step up to K League 2 is the first time the fixture list has matched the size of the place. Paju sits at the northern edge of Gyeonggi Province, close to the border, and the stadium is the city's main sporting venue rather than a football ground built for a football club.
