Ráječko

Hřiště SK Olympia Ráječko holds 600 people, a figure some databases inflate to 1,500. It is the kind of pitch that has hosted the same club since 1932 without pause.

SK Olympia Ráječko has never lifted a trophy that reaches beyond the region. Since the Czech league system was reorganised in 2002, Ráječko is the only club to have stayed in the Přebor Jihomoravského kraje, the fifth tier, without a single relegation or gap. A second-place finish in 2018/19 and third-place finishes in 2008/09, 2017/18 and 2024/25 mark the ceiling of what the club has managed there.

Teodor Kaliwoda passed through only briefly, in 1951 and 1952, sandwiched between the two spells at Spartak ČKD Blansko where he scored more than 300 goals and made his name. Martin Šenal arrived the other way round: he was MSFL's top scorer for Blansko in 2008/09 before joining Ráječko in 2012, bringing a level of finishing the village side rarely sees. On the touchline, Jan Nečas spent eight years in charge from 1996, and it was his side that won promotion into the regional Přebor in 2002 — the tier the club has never since left.

Jiří Huska now takes charge of a team that still plays in front of a few hundred people at most, on a ground in a village whose name barely extends past the district boundary, in colours of yellow, green and black that have marked the same small pitch for close to a century.
