Rochester

Rochester FC is still chasing its first play-off appearance in USL League Two, the level it moved up to in 2023 after years spent in the amateur UPSL. A women's side wearing the same colours joined the USL W League that same year, and neither team has broken into the post-season since.

The closest rival is Minneapolis City SC, a fixture USL League Two itself frames as an in-state feud rather than anything carrying a settled derby name.

Home games are played at RCTC Stadium, also known as Rochester Regional Stadium, in front of up to 5,000 people.

Royal blue runs through the home kit, silver-grey through the away one, and the crest carries a loon, blue and white — the bird that gives the club its local nickname, the Loons — with a Bosnian star set where its eye should be. The club was founded in 2018 by two Bosnian immigrants who had settled in Rochester, Minnesota: Midhat Mujić and Muharem Dedić. Their names are still what people in Rochester reach for first when the conversation turns to the club, its trophy cabinet as empty now as the day they started it.
