Stubai

Simon Rumer came through the AKA Tirol academy and played for FC Wacker Innsbruck II before signing for FC Stubai in 2019. FC Stubai was not born from one town's ambition but from four: SSV Neustift, TSV Fulpmes, SV Mieders and SV Schönberg merged their football sections on 1 July 2019, pooling players and youth coaching across the Stubai Valley. The club built its identity around that idea, summed up locally as "Ein Tal, ein Verein" — one valley, one club.

Because no single ground could serve all four founding villages, FC Stubai still uses pitches across the valley, with the Kamplsee Stadion in Neustift, seating 500 on its tribune, as the main venue. The men's first team won the Landesliga West in the 2023/24 season and were promoted into the Tiroler Liga, the fifth tier of Austrian football, while the club's second side took the Bezirksliga West title the same year. The women's team, playing as SPG FC Stubai/Matrei, had already given the merged club its first honours before that: the Tiroler Frauen-Landescup in 2018, then the Euregio-Cup and the Tiroler Meister title in 2019.

Engin Aysel returned to Stubai in 2025 after spells at SV Ried and FC Wacker Innsbruck.
