Tedeón

Navarrete's football team wears green and black vertical stripes with black shorts and socks. Club Deportivo Tedeón has been playing since 1947, on an artificial pitch at the Estadio San Miguel that is also called the Estadio Tedeón. It has spent its life in amateur football, in the regional leagues of La Rioja and the fourth and fifth tiers of the national pyramid.

The club's story is one of moving between the two. Tedeón first reached the Tercera División in 2008, after finishing third in the Regional Preferente the season before. It went down in 2010, won the Preferente in 2010–11 and came straight back up, then was relegated again in 2012. The club won the regional title a second time in 2022–23, which brought another promotion to what had become the Tercera Federación. That stay lasted a single season, and Tedeón went down at the end of 2023–24.

The 2018 final of the Copa de la Regional Preferente, the Copa Federación de La Rioja, was a near miss. Tedeón lost to Casalarreina CF on penalties.

In 2024 the local rock band Vuelo 505 released "Tu escudo está en mi piel" ("Your shield is in my skin"), and the club adopted it as its anthem.

Tedeón's two rivals in La Rioja are CD Anguiano and Haro Deportivo. Haro have long been the stronger club in the region, so matches against them carry more weight for Tedeón than the league position of either side would suggest.
