Teteks

In 2012/13, playing in the Second League after relegation from the top flight, the side from Tetovo fought through to the final and took the trophy anyway.

The club grew out of Šar Tetovo, twice winner of the Macedonian Cup, in 1948 and 1950. Andro Jankovski and Aleksandar Apostolov built its replacement around the Teteks textile combine, naming it Tekstilec. It took the name Teteks in 1961. Under Yugoslavia the club won two more Macedonian Cups, in 1978 and 1982, and reached its highest point in the old system in 1981, when the Second Federal League (South) title sent it up into the SFRY's First League.

Independence made the wait for a first trophy a long one. It came in 2010, against Rabotnički in the cup final, and set up the odd repeat three years later. The 2013 final was lost, appropriately, to Shkëndija — the other club of Tetovo, whose meetings with Teteks are fought out inside one city rather than across the map.

For most of its history Teteks played at the Gradski stadium, a 15,000-seat ground opened in 1984 and known in its sponsored years as Ecolog Arena. It was demolished in 2024. Since then the club has been playing home matches at the AMS Sportski Centar, a temporary venue holding 2,000, with a return to a rebuilt Gradski stadium pencilled in for 2025.
