FC Tuggen
The club formed in the commune of Tuggen, in the canton of Schwyz, on 11 November 1966, playing under the name SC Tuggen before switching to FC Tuggen in 1977. Twice, in 1986 and 1994, the title carried the club up into Nationalliga B, the division now known as the Challenge League, and both times it lasted exactly one season before coming back down. Twice more, in 1997 and 2012, promotion was there to be won in a play-off and slipped away instead.
The one run that reached beyond the league table came in the Swiss Cup, in the 1990/91 season, when Tuggen played its way to the quarter-final before FC Chiasso ended it, 4-0.
Home games are played on Linthstrasse, a ground built for 2,800 with only 300 seats among them.
