«Čechie Vykáň»
Vykáň is a village in the Nymburk district of Central Bohemia, small enough that its football club runs its business through the parish council's website rather than one of its own. Organised football in the village dates back to 1921, five years before the club itself, FK Čechie Vykáň, was formally established on 2 March 1926.
The team plays in sky blue and white at the Fotbalový stadion Vykáň, a ground that holds 1,000 spectators — modest even by the standards of the Czech lower leagues, and typical of a club that has spent almost all of its history several rungs down the pyramid.
One season stands apart. Vykáň won promotion from the Středočeský krajský přebor in 2017 and stepped up into Division C, the fourth tier of Czech football. The stay lasted a single campaign: they finished 14th of 16 clubs and dropped back down to the league they had come from.
Further back, the club has one line worth keeping in its record: it won the František Dorica memorial tournament in 1979.
Vykáň has not gone near the fourth tier since. This season the club plays in the Okresní přebor mužů Nymburk — the eighth tier of Czech football, four divisions below where it stood in 2017/18.
