Adjarabet Arena
The pitch sits in the New Boulevard development, close to Leonidze Street and within reach of the sea. Work began in January 2018 and finished in July 2020, with the official opening on 27 October 2020.
The design came from the Turkish practice Bahadır Kul Architects, built by Anagi Construction Company. The budget set at the outset was 99.5 million lari. In 2023 Georgian News named it the best public building of the year.
Dinamo Batumi play here, but the ground has drawn its bigger occasions from elsewhere. The Georgia national side has used it through qualifying for the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 European Championship, along with friendlies. The rugby team has taken wins over Italy, Canada and Fiji on the same grass.
The largest crowd it has held came on 8 July 2023, when the final of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship brought England and Spain to Batumi: 18,498 people. That remains the attendance record.
Concerts go elsewhere. When Scorpions played Batumi in May 2024, they played the Black Sea Arena, the concert venue nearby.
