Al-Awwal Park

Al-Awwal Park sits inside the campus of King Saud University, a stadium built for students that ended up hosting Saudi Arabia's biggest club fixtures. The ground opened in 2015 as King Saud University Stadium and has changed its name twice since, running as Mrsool Park before taking its current title — a naming history that traces the sponsorship deals of the country's fast-moving football market more than any change to the ground itself.

The pitch is hybrid grass, a surface built to hold up under a fixture list far heavier than a university side alone would generate. With 25,000 seats, it is not the largest arena in Riyadh, but its location inside the King Saud University grounds gives it a campus feel that the city's other stadiums do not share, with academic buildings rather than a commercial district around the perimeter.

The stadium is run by the Saudi Media Company, which also handles its commercial branding under the Victory Arena name. Saudi Arabia's plans for the 2034 World Cup point to a rebuild that would push capacity well past its current mark, though for now the ground remains a mid-size venue serving Riyadh's club football rather than a tournament showpiece.
