Andreas Wimmer Arena

The ground carries a name it did not always have. In September 2022, the local football association renamed it to honour Andreas Wimmer, a former mayor of the town credited with pushing forward its sports facilities. The renaming ceremony also unveiled commemorative plaques on site.

Home to SV Kuchl, who play in the Regionalliga West, the arena sits at Markt 313 in Salzburg province. The main pitch is natural grass; a second, artificial surface stands alongside it, used for training and by the club's reserve and Juniors sides.

Two rounds of work have shaped what stands today. A roof went up over the main stand in 2004, and a 2011 rebuild added new changing rooms and a buffet, both finished in timber. Neither the cost of that work nor the builders behind it appear in the records available.

Capacity has settled at 1,500. No record survives of an attendance figure to mark against it.
