Arena Rive
Rive is not a stadium that pretends to be more than it is. The pitch sits in the district of the same name, a corner of Alegre that took its current spelling only in 1943, and for now it seats 400 — a figure that tells its own story about the club that plays there.
Rive AC only turned professional this year, stepping up into the second tier of the Espírito Santo state championship, and the ground still carries the names of what it used to be: Campo do Rive Atlético Clube, later Estádio do Rive Atlético Clube. It reads as a village pitch that has just been handed a league fixture list it was not quite built for.
That mismatch is why the club has now put a rebuilding plan on the table, with the stated aim of pushing capacity up toward 2,150 by 2027. Until the work is done, Rive AC intend to play their home matches elsewhere in the city, at the Estádio Arsílio Caiado Ferreira — itself a ground with history, opened in 1929 and rebuilt in the mid-1990s. So for a season or two, the promotion earned on the pitch and the ground built to house it belong to two different addresses in the same small city.
