Aubrey Dimba Stadium
Kapiri (Mchinji District), Malawi
It stands in Kapiri, a trading centre in the Mchinji District, built as a direct replacement for a former Mau Mau football community ground that local players had described as forgotten. Aubrey Dimba bankrolled the project himself. The estate opened in October 2021, debuting with the inaugural edition of the Aubrey Dimba Trophy, played on natural grass.
Creck Sporting Club call it home, as do Luanar Mitundu and Kamuzu Barracks, though the regulars know the ground is more than a tenant list. The annual trophy remains the heartbeat of the calendar here. The 2022 final saw Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves edge past Silver Strikers Reserves 1–0, while the 2023 title went to Namitete Zitha FC on penalties.
Official recognition has been uneven. In April 2023 the Football Association of Malawi disqualified the venue for failing to meet minimum CAF and FAM requirements, forcing the tenant teams to relocate their fixtures elsewhere. The club returned to the approved list for the 2024 season and retained its status for the 2026/27 campaign.
There is no street address or attendance record figures to anchor the history. The capacity sits at 1,500. The stands and dressing rooms are functional.
