Yerevan Football Academy Stadium (Avan Academy Stadium)

Yerevan Football Academy Stadium was built to train teenagers, yet its highest recorded crowd packed the ground to its full 1,428 seats for a UEFA Europa League qualifier.

The pitch sits inside the Armenian Football Federation's training complex in Yerevan's Avan district, and its full name still reflects that link: it opened in April 2013 as the FFA Technical Center-Academy Stadium, with the first match there, Pyunik against Banants, played.

Pyunik used the ground before returning there for the second half of the 2025/2026 season. Gandzasar and BKMA Yerevan have also played home fixtures on the same artificial surface, which otherwise answers first to the academy's own training schedule.

Armenia's women have been based there since 2014, and the country's junior sides use it regularly, including matches at the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. The senior men's team has never played a fixture on it. Capacity has stayed at 1,428 throughout, and the stadium has never staged anything beyond football — no concerts, no other events on record.
