Bauunternehmung Eroglu-Arena
Kleve sits hard against the Dutch border, and its ground on Bresserbergstraße has cycled through more names than most stadiums see in a lifetime — Stadion am Bresserberg, Volksbank Arena, Getec-Arena, now Bauunternehmung Eroglu-Arena, each rebrand a marker of whichever sponsor was paying the bills that season.
1. FC Kleve have played their best football here in fits and starts. The 2008/09 season in the Regionalliga West remains the high-water mark for the club in modern times, a level they have not touched since. A decade later, in 2018, they beat FSV Duisburg 4-0 to claim the Landesliga Niederrhein title and earn their way back into the Oberliga Niederrhein.
The ground's single biggest night came in 2020, when Kleve hosted the Niederrheinpokal final against Rot-Weiss Essen. Winning it meant more than a trophy on the shelf — it handed the amateur side a first-ever place in the DFB-Pokal, the kind of draw that gives a small-town club a fixture list it would otherwise never see.
Capacity has been quoted differently depending on who is counting, somewhere around 5,000 to 6,000, but nobody at Kleve talks about the number so much as the run that got them there.
