Borough Briggs
Elgin City have owned Borough Briggs since 1921, when they left a temporary pitch at Cooper Park after two seasons and settled on the road that still carries the ground's name. It has never been renamed and never taken a sponsor's prefix.
The record crowd belongs to 17 February 1968: 12,608 turned up for a Scottish Cup second-round tie against Arbroath, and Elgin won 2-0. That run carried the Highland League side into the quarter-final — the first Highland League club ever to reach that stage.
Capacity was topped up in 2000 with 500 seats taken from St James' Park in Newcastle, brought in to meet Scottish Football League admission rules. Borough Briggs still draws the occasional larger away following — Hibernian's League Cup visit in July 2024 brought around 1,788.
