Bresserbergstadion

Formerly: Volksbank Arena, Getec-Arena, Bauunternehmung Eroglu-Arena

The ground at Bresserberg belongs to the town of Kleve, not to a club, and that shows in how it is used: two sides call it home, 1. FC Kleve and VfR SW Warbeyen.

Its recent history is a sequence of building work rather than a single opening. The rebuild finished in 2000 replaced two cinder pitches with synthetic surfaces; the modernisation of 2008 pushed capacity past five thousand. The main pitch has stayed natural grass throughout.

Since 2008 the name above the gate has changed three times, each time with the sponsor. It ran as the Volksbank Arena until 2018, then as the Getec-Arena until the end of 2021, and from February 2022 as the Bauunternehmung Eroglu-Arena.

The largest occasion the ground has staged came on 22 August 2020, when it hosted the final of the Niederrheinpokal.
