The women's side that plays at the Bresserbergstadion took the Landesliga Niederrhein in 2018. Two years later it won the Niederrheinliga, though that title arrived by points-per-game after the season was cut short. In 2025 it went up again as champions of the Regionalliga West, having finished third in 2023 and second in 2024 before the season that finally worked.

Between those league finishes came the Niederrheinpokal in 2022, and with it a place in the DFB-Pokal. The first round paired Warbeyen with Borussia Bocholt; they lost 1:2 and went out. The club reached the ARAG Niederrheinpokal der Frauen final again in 2024 without winning it.

The 2025–26 season in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga was short and unforgiving. Warbeyen finished 14th and went straight back down, one season after arriving.

The club dates to 1945, and the full name — Verein für Rasenspiele Schwarz-Weiß Warbeyen 1945 e. V. — still carries the black and white the team plays in. Warbeyen is a district of Kleve.

The Bresserbergstadion holds 6,000.
