Before 2008 there was barely a stadium here at all — just an open pitch at Vinnenweg, with no real stands to speak of. That changed only because FC Oberneuland won a promotion play-off in June that year and needed to meet DFB licensing requirements for Regionalliga football.

The name over the gate has moved almost as often as the club's league position. It started out as Sportpark am Vinnenweg, went through 53acht Sportpark, then became Florian-Wellmann-Stadion under a local estate agent's sponsorship from 2017, switched to Marko Mock Arena in August 2020, and changed again to brz-Arena at the start of 2026.

Officially the ground holds 2,250 — 850 seats, 347 of them under cover, plus 1,400 standing.

Oberneuland hosted Darmstadt 98 in the first round of the DFB-Pokal in August 2019 in front of just over two thousand supporters, then took a 9-1 beating from Nürnberg in the same competition four years later. The 2013 Bremen cup final went the other way as well: a 4-0 loss to SG Aumund-Vegesack that cost the club its own place in the following season's DFB-Pokal.
