Chatsworth Stadium
Golden Arrows moved in and stayed, but before them Manning Rangers made the ground their base in 1985 after leaving Curries Fountain.
Construction seems to have run into 1988, with the formal opening following in 1989, and the venue was renovated ahead of the 2010 World Cup, though what that work actually touched is not recorded. What is clear is that the stadium has carried a crowd before: the 2008 Telkom Knockout final between Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town packed the ground out.
There was a push at one point to rename the ground after the politician Amichand Rajbansi, but it never went anywhere. The pitch is natural grass, despite one property listing claiming an artificial surface — every account of an actual match there says otherwise. Cricket shares the ground with football, and since 2024 it has also hosted Durban City's home matches in the second-tier Motsepe Foundation Championship.
