Stadium
Cwrt-yr-Ala
Cwrt-yr-Ala sits at the far end of a housing estate in Ely, and functions as a home ground for the community club Caerau Ely FC, shared now with Clwb Cymric as well.
The club itself goes back to 1955, though it took decades to settle here. Caerau Ely started out playing at Ely Racecourse, then moved to the grounds of Glyn Derw School, before finally relocating to Cwrt-yr-Ala in the 1980s. The exact date the ground itself opened has not survived in any record worth citing, so the site's own history before the club arrived stays untold.
Capacity is a smaller detail than it looks: Transfermarkt, Netscores and Score366 all list 1,000, while the Wikipedia entry for the club itself gives 500.
