Dustlik

What sets Dustlik apart from the other mid-sized grounds in and around Tashkent is that it is not quite one place. The name attaches to a ground in the capital's Novy Tashkentsky district, in the Khvan Man Gym mahalla, and it also attaches to the settlement of Dustlik out in the Yukarychirchik district of Tashkent Region. No street-and-number address has been published for either, which tells you something about the kind of venue this is.

The ground carries two tenants rather than one. FC Dustlik plays here, and so does Olimpik-Mobiuz.

The most recent chapter is a construction one. In 2024 the ground was reworked under the FIFA Forward programme: new floodlights went up, the stands were repaired, and three additional pitches were built alongside. Funding for the complex as a whole came to $4.2 million.

Confusion is worth heading off: Dustlik has never been renamed Lokomotiv or Traktor. Those are separate grounds. Nor does it keep an official website, so what circulates about it tends to circulate secondhand — including its 8,000 capacity.
