Stadium
Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo
Cancún, Mexico
Formerly: Estadio Olímpico de Cancún
Ninety-nine days is what the rebuild took. Governor Pedro Joaquín Coldwell ordered the work; the architect Roberto Arpón drew it. The bill came to 20 million pesos.
It opened in August 2007 against Universidad Nacional, and four months later the same opponent came back for the Apertura final. Atlante won that night 2-1, in front of a full house. The Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo has not staged anything to match it since.
The Copa MX final of Clausura 2013 came closest. Atlante and Cruz Azul played out a goalless 90 minutes here on 10 April; Cruz Azul held their nerve from the spot.
Two clubs shared it in the final years — Atlante until 2023, Cancún FC from 2020 to the same date.
