Estádio Brinco de Ouro da Princesa

Everyone in Campinas calls this ground the same thing the club's own supporters do — Brinco de Ouro. A local journalist coined the phrase in a 1948 newspaper piece about the project, describing it as a gift fit for Campinas, which carried the old title of "Princess of the West." The name stuck through construction and has never been replaced, even though the ground's formal title, Estádio Brinco de Ouro da Princesa, spells out the connection in full.

Guarani Futebol Clube has called it home since it opened in 1953, and the ground sits in the Jardim Guarani neighbourhood. The natural grass pitch has needed periodic renewal to keep up with a busy fixture list, and in October 2025 the club began replacing the surface again.

There is no rebuild story here, no shared tenancy, no reinvention for a global tournament — just a stadium that has belonged to one club and one nickname since the 1950s, standing in the same residential corner of Campinas it was built in.
