Estadio Centenario Ciudad de Quilmes

Quilmes did not build a new stadium in 1995; it moved into one, having spent the previous decade at Nueva Chicago while its own ground was rebuilt. Construction started in the middle of 1988, and by the time the gates opened on 25 April 1995, with a friendly against Nacional of Montevideo, the club had gone the better part of a generation without a home of its own. Argentina used the ground for a friendly against Australia that same year, on 30 June, winning 2–0 with goals from Abel Balbo and Gabriel Batistuta.

The name on the gates has not stayed the same. For two decades it carried the name of José Luis Meiszner, the club's former president, until 2016, when his role in the FIFA corruption case caught up with the record books and the ground was renamed Estadio Centenario Ciudad de Quilmes. A 1998 refit gave the bowl its current look, with 26,000 seats and standing room for a further 4,200; nothing structural has changed since.

Outside league football, the stadium has done regular duty as a neutral venue for Copa Argentina knockout rounds, in the 2011–12, 2017, 2019 and 2020 editions. The February 2020 round of 32 between Gimnasia La Plata and Sportivo Barracas drew particular attention: Diego Maradona walked out onto the pitch before kick-off in his first appearance at the tournament as a manager.
