Estadio Central Ballester
Central Ballester waited twenty-seven years to come home. The club's ground in Villa Ballester was shut in 1995 after bomb incidents, and for nearly three decades the team played its home matches elsewhere, carrying the name of a stadium that no longer existed. That changed on 14 May 2022, when Estadio Central Ballester opened in José León Suárez with a 1-0 win over Sportivo Barracas.
The ground itself is modest by design: 2,000 seats and a natural grass pitch, built for a club returning to its own patch of ground rather than chasing scale. Nothing here has been renamed or rebranded along the way — the stadium carries the same title the old, closed ground once held, a continuity the club held onto through all those years of playing away from home.
