Estadio Comunal de Cariari
Cariari, Costa Rica
The name over the gate outlasted the club whose fixtures it hosts: since 2024 the ground has carried the honorary title Estadio Bernardo Veach Davis, after the death of a former player and coach of AD Cariari Pococí.
AD Cariari Pococí moved here in 1996, leaving behind their old ground at Finca Formosa. At 1,200 capacity, there is no room for it to be anything but a local ground, and it plays like one.
It has hosted its share of finals rather than just league fixtures. The Torneo Clausura decider came here in 2011, and in 2023 the Torneo Apertura final ended 1-1 between Cariari Pococí and Santa Ana FC. Play-off nights against Inter San Carlos in 2012 and against Marineros in 2024 filled out a ground that otherwise sees quieter Tuesday afternoons in the second tier.
