Estadio Corona
The old stadium in the Jesús María district changed its brewer's name twice before the wrecking crews arrived: Estadio Moctezuma from 1970, Estadio Corona from 1986. The replacement kept the second name and gave up almost nothing else from the original — a full rebuild rather than a refit, raised on the same footprint as part of the wider Territorio Santos Modelo development that now surrounds it.
The demolition sequence tells its own story about the club's patience: the new ground opened on 11 November 2009, and the old one came down only a week later. For that one week, two stadiums bearing variations of the same name stood on the same plot.
Locally the ground is known as much by its sponsor prefix as by its proper name — Estadio TSM Corona — reflecting the Territorio Santos Modelo branding that covers the whole complex, not just the pitch. Capacity sits at 30,000, playing surface is natural grass.
What the available record does not settle is the attendance mark for the ground — a gap in an otherwise well-documented rebuild.
