Stadium
Estádio Doutor Robert Todd Locke
Jaboticabal, Brazil
Formerly: Estádio Todd Locke
Jaboticabal's stadium carries a name that reads more like a plaque than a scoreboard: Estádio Doutor Robert Todd Locke, honouring a figure whose surname the ground has kept even in its shorter, everyday form, Estádio Todd Locke. It opened in 1912.
The ground belongs to Jaboticabal Atlético, and its history has not been a straight line. In 2009 the stadium itself went up for auction. Talk resurfaced in 2016 of reorganising the venue as part of an effort to bring the team back into active competition.
What remains constant is the setting: a stadium built to hold just over ten thousand people.
