Jaboticabal Atlético's youth ranks have gone quiet in recent seasons: the club has not turned up on the entry lists for the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 since 2022, a gap tied to financial strain at the parent club.

Known as Alvinegro for its black and white colours, the club took that scheme from Tottenham Hotspur — black for nobility, white for peace — when it was founded on 30 April 1911. Its honours read as a story of the lower divisions: champion of the Série A4 in 1989 and 1996, and of the Série A3 in 1990, with an amateur-era title in the Campeonato do Oeste Paulista dating back to 1915.

Pedran, born Cristiano Florêncio da Silva, came through the club in 1997 and 1998 before going on to become Grêmio Barueri's all-time leading scorer and the top scorer of the 2009 Campeonato Paulista.

Games are played at Estádio Doutor Robert Todd Locke, listed by the CBF at 7,512 seats. For now, the Sub-20 side's path back onto the state's official calendar depends on how far the main club's revival goes.
