Stadium
Estadio Eloy Molina Robles
Huanta, Peru
Formerly: Estadio Municipal de Huanta
The Estadio Eloy Molina Robles sits high in the Andes.
The surface is natural grass, and it is a working pitch for the local team, Sport Huanta, and for visitors from Lima who come to play in the Liga 1.
The history of the place is heavier than its capacity of 7,500. It was built in the 1970s and opened in 1975, but its use changed drastically a decade later. The name was changed only in 2010, after a remodel, to honour a former mayor who started it all.
It is the only ground in Huanta, and it feels like it.
